During tho montli estimates wcw pre
pared showiug that nearly $100,000
worth of work had been done in tho
city. In addition to this specificn
lions wero prewired and grade stake
, set for much additional work.
According to tho report during the
month of June the estimates on
sewer, water and paving work totajed
$07,707.02. Cemeut sidewalks of a
total length of 2032 feet were con
structed while hubs wero set for 1000
additional i'ceU Grades were estab
lished and profiles drown of 2C,S1-J
feet of additional service mails and
paving. All in all it was a very busy
month with the cit3 engineer. ,

the officers, but has refused to admit

wage earners who are flocking into

An ordinance was passed declaring
tho cost and levying assessments on
Jackson street to cover tho cost of
paving.
Sidewalks were ordered construct
ed on the south side of Queen Anne
avenue from Roosevelt to Oregon ter
race, and on tho north side of Eighth
street from Laurel to Mistletoe.
A plat of the Stlmson addition to
tlio city of Medford was accepted.
The fire committee was Instructed
to Investigate the need of more firo
hose for the fire department and wero
given power to act.

lowed and warrants ordered drawn to
cover the soveral amounts.
