counties of Oklahoma state that the
farmers aro greatly disturbed over
tho appearance of tho Army worm.
Otherwise, reports from all dis
tricts from Utah to Vlrglula. and
from Nova Scotia to New Mexico, In
dicate an exceedingly heavy bloom.
Of course, a heavy bloom Is not nec
essary a heavy crop, but In tho pres
ent prospects mature, there will be n
record cron of apples, taking the
production as a whole, without re
ference to any ono region.
Prom Ontario comes the first ap
