Tlio city of Bedford doth ordain, as
follews:
Section 1. Whereas, the city of Med
ford linn heretofore duly caused certain
streets of said city toibo Improved, and
has duly nssesHCd tho cost thereof to
the property benefited thereby In ac
cordance with (ho, charter pf said city;
And whereas, certain owners of sun
dry pieces of property each assessed for
such Improvement In a sum exceeding
twenty-flvo dollars, have duly mado and
filed application to pay said several as
sessments In Installments In nccordaucn
with section 2727 of said Bellinger &
Cotton's Annotated .Codes and iSatutes;
And whereas, an assessment and bond
lion docket has Ijoen duly made up In
accot dunce with tho provisions of said
section and of section 2728 of said Codes
and Statutes, and tho total amount of
unpaid assessments for such street Im
provements and for which application to
pay under tho provisions of said sec
tions abovo cited haw been made and

Tho contractor shall rocolvo "warrants
to thu amount of eighty (80) per cent
Of tho work completed each month and
warrnntH for tho balanco of twohty (20)
per cent shall be Issued upon tho com
pletion of the centract: said warrants
