W. E. Davics was convicted in the
circuit court Wednesday afternoon
of horso stealing, lie will be sen
tenced Saturday.
Davics had been working for .7. .
Wilson who lives nenr Medford for
several lie was discharged by Wil
son. On 1' chruary I'l Mr. ll.son
found that one of his horses had
been stolen, lie udvcrtUed and E. K.
Struble of Gold Hill answered sny

the stolen annual. Upon investiga
tion this horse proved to be the one
which Wilson had lost.
Mr. Strublo slated that he had
purchased tbo horse from a W. E.
Davics,, and produced a bill of sale
for the animal.
