Holmes hns put up a ney wire fence between his place and thnt of A. J. Flory greatly improving the ap pearance of both places. James Hingor has fenced in the two lots he bought of William Ulrich in the Ulrich addition to Eagle Point. The question of license or no li cense will be voted on next Satin -day, the 38th inst., nnd that will decide the question as to whether we will have a saloon in our town or not. There were three lots sold to par ties from Mcdford last Friday. Dr. Ncwding of Brownsboro was shaking hands with his friends here last Saturday. A. B. Zimmerman and Miss Xor ling have sold their stock of goods to Messrs. Heath and Diamond of Mcdford, and at this writing they are taking an account of stock. If the business seems to justify they will erect a largo store building and put in a good stock of goods. Hew Jones of Butte Falls came out Saturday on the stage and went on to Mcdford on the train. H. M. Whitsel, wife, baby and mother-in-law, Mrs. Patterson, were out in their automobile Sunday for dinner. Mr. Whitsel is the phono graph man of Mcdford. Miss Drake of Ashland spent the night here Shndny nnd took the stage for Elk creek this Monday morning. Claud Garner and family of Mod ford and Mr. S. F. Snow of Becker, Minn., came out to the Sunnyside for dinner Sunday and after dinner took a trip up the country. Mr. Garner is the president of the real estate asso ciation of Mcdford and was out fa miliarizing himself with the country. George Gcasett and family came out Sunday in their auto and spent the afternoon visiting with Mr Howlett. Fort Hubbard and family of Mcd ford were nl-o riding out in their auto and called for dinner at the Sunnyside. Miss Culbertson of Luko creek came out Monday morning and took the stage for Brownsboro.
