homo of hi! daughter, Mrs. Harold

a brief Illness, at tho ago of 80

Tho deceased had tho distinction of
having been engaged In tho minis
try longer than any other man In
the northwest. Ho was born In Co

ferred to Oregon. His first charg
hero was tho Jacksonville circuit. He
built tho Methodist church there,
