pumps, now of no use to the city al
though in good condition, might bo
converted into cash, and that a simi
lar disposition could be made of sev
eral tons of old hydrants, worth DO

and also a (uantity of old brass was
contained in the communication.

According to the proposition made
by the Gold Hay people, thev will J
agree, providing a contract covering
a period of 10 years is entered into,

hns been in touch with Eagle Point
boosters in regard to the venture and
is now said to be in a position to
