SNOWS OF CRATER LAKE
According to tho Fort Klamath cor
respondent of tho Klamath Chronlclo,
H. H. Uowskl, photographer of Oregon
City, who left hero three weeks ago
to secure photos of Crater Lake In
mid winter, lias been lost in tho deep
snows that now surround tho orator.
Last week Frank Hums nnd Albert
Glpson started out to try and locate
tho mission adventure. They return
ed and report having found Bowskl's
sled nnd shovel. Tho sled was found
a mile nnd n half this sldo of tho rim
of the crater. It was completely hid
den under the new show that has
fallen. All of tho outfit that Uowskl
had hauled in on this was missing.
Ho had evidently taken his kodak and
other supplies off tho slod and car
ried them to soino othor spot, but
whore, could not bo located.
