o'clock, and on starting to leave they

locked. Thoy went to the janitor's
room, which they also found locked,
and on examining tho room through
tho tiaiiKom thoy found It unoccupied.
After telephoning every possible place
where ho might be they gave up the
search for him, and commenced a
frantic tolophono search for the own
er of tho building. He was not at
homo but attending a political func
tion, wlieio he was found after a long
search. Ho appeared on tho scene
after what seemed a weary wait to
tho Iniprisonoil club men, and extri
cated them from their plight.
There will piobably bo some now
rules In the club on adjournment of
meetings.
