72,000 acres of the project lie in Or

California has contributed $-1,000,-000
for reclamation and only re
ceived $J,. 100,000 from the govern
ment, whereas Idaho, Montana and
other states have 'overdrawn their
contributions.

until he becomes a resident. His ap
pointment was made known to him
late last week.
