The eye is constructed so won
derfully nnd ingeniously that the
handicraft of man has as vet not
been able to construct as delicate
an instrument. It is like a cam
era the lens to focus, the lid a
a shutter, the iris or color as the
diaphram, the thick coatings of
the eyeball as the dark room, tin
nerve ns the sensitive plate, and
strange as it may seem the itn
lines are bottom side up exneth
us the imane in the camera. Now
so delicate and sensitive an in
strument as the ec should have
tfood care. Let me explain moie
fully to you how to caie for th
eves.

of the leading manufacturers, the
Automobile Dealers Association of Oregon
have arranged the first Automobile Show
under their auspices, to be held in Port
land during the week of January 23rd to
2Sth, 1911. This show will take the form
of Opening Week, which is a new and
novel departure from previous exhibitions
on the Pacific Coast, but has proved very
popular and successful in Eastern cities.
The distinct advantage of each
dealer having ample space to properly dis
play his entire line is a very important one,
both to the dealer and visitor who will
thus have the opportunity of closest possi
ble inspection, while the impression gained
by a visitor in a call at a dealer's establish
ment, is more lasting than a visit to an
exhibition space which can of necessity
have little or no individuality.
Call on your local dealer for further
information.
