a few days visiting with her friend,
Mrs. Edward Jennings. Both Mr.

residing at Mcdford, nnd never al
low an opportunity to pacs whereby
thoy can since the praises of their
homo community. Mrs. Payne says
that Medford has grown wonderfully
during the past threo years, and like
her neighbors, sho snys the town will
some day become the metropolis of
southern Oregon. Mr. Payne owns a
large ranch near Medford, and has
fared exceedingly well since locating
in that section of the state.
