ing with railroad and telegraph ser
vice, and tending to unsettlo thoso
markets. There has beon Ice in Lou
isiana and snow in Texas. Wo are
receiving dally a report of weather
conditions along tho transcontinental
lines, nnd temperatures as low as
ton degrees abovo zero aro reported
in parts of Montana. This empha
sizes tho necessity of extreme caro
