East Thirteenth street to Bouth boun
dary and directing tho recorder to
enter a statomont thereof In tho
water main Hen docket.
Tho city of Med ford doth ordalu as
follews:
Section 1. Whereas, tho city coun
cil did heretofore, by resolution, de
clare Its Intention to lay a six-Inch
water main on South Central avo
nuo and to assess tho cost thereof on
tho property fronting on said portion
of said street in proportion to tho
frontage of said property, and fix a
time and place for hearing protests
against tho laying of said water main
on said part of said streot and tho
assessments of tho cost thereof as
aforesaid; and,
Whereas, Bald resolution was duly
published and posted as required by
section 116 of the charter of said
city: and,
"Whereas, a mooting of the council
was held at tho time and place fixed
In the said resolution for tho purpose
of considering any such protests, but
no protests wero at said tlmo, or at
any other time, mado to or received
by the council to the said laying of
the said water main or tho assess
ment or tno cost as aroresaid, and
said council having considered tho
matter, and deeming that said water
main was and Is of material benefit
to said city, and that all proporty to
be assessed therefor would be bene
fited thereby to tho extent ot tho
probable amount of the respective
assessments to be levied against said
property, did order said main laid;
and.
Whereas, tho cost of the said wa
ter main has been and hereby Is de
termined to ho tho sum of $422.82,
Now, therefore, it is hereby further
determined that the proportionate
share of'the cost of lavlnc said water
rmatn of each parcel of property front
ing on said portion of said street Is
tbe amount set opposlto the descrip
tion of each parcel of land below, and
that each piece or parcel of land ben
efited by the laying of said main to
the full extent of the amount bo set
opposite the description of the same,
and that tho respective amounts rep
resent tho proportional benefits of
said water main to said respective
parcels of lrad, and also tho pro
portional frontage thereof on said
ctreet, and the council does hereby
declare each of tho parcels of prop
erty described below to be assessed.
