favorite candidates, according to the table of votes published in this announcement. The winners of these prizes will be the women of greatest energy, most oxtonsivo acquaintance,

WHO MAY ENTER THE CONTEST
Any woman is eligible, provided conditions set forth below are complied with.
Candidates must reside in the district or territory from which nominated. No candi
date will be permitted to transfer votes to another after receiving them for herself.
The right is reserved to withdraw the offer in any district where only one candidate
is nominated or voted for.
Ballots sent in for names not properly nominated will be destroyed uncounted.
A ballot will be printed every day during the life of the contest. Tho ballot will
count ten votes. All ballots will be dated, and will Devoid unloss rocoived at Tho Mail
Tribune office on or before the expiration date as printed. All ballots must bo sent
direct to the Contest Department of The Mail Tribune, postage fully prepaid. No em
ploye of the Mail Tribune or member of an employe's family will bo eligible as a can
didate. In accepting nominations all candidates must accept and agree to abide by above
conditions.
IN CASE OF A TIE, PRIZES OF EQUAL VALUE WILL BE GIVEN EACH OF THE CONTESTANTS TIED.

Mail Tribune Contest Department. The Mail Tribune reserves the right

How Ballots are Secured
In all cases where ballots arc issued subscriptions must bo paid or
prepaid. Tho full amount of money must be sent direct by mail, paid
to local collectors or brought to this office. The paper will bo delivered
by mail or carriers, as requested.
Besides tho votes given on subscriptions, there will be a coupon
published in each issue of tho Mail Tribune, which, when cut out and
filled in, will count as Ten Votes. Theso coupons must be mailed or
fcent to the Mail Tribune Contest Department before the expiration of
the time printed on each ballot.
Ballots cannot bo bought; thoy.must be cut from tho paper or
secured by subscription.
