Disappearance a Mystery.
SANTA IIOSA, Cal., Aug. 3,
News of the disappearance of Thos.
Kendall and his parents from their
ranch near Cazadero has caused the
authorities to investigate the case
because of tlio suspicion that the
Kendalls have been murdered. Thu
ranch apparently has been deserted
for soveral days, but thoro are said
to bo many evidences of a haBty de
parture. Thu Kendalls havo been involved
in litigation ovor their ranch for
isomo time. It is thought their dis
appearance may bo .connected with
this trouble.
