would have declared Jack's work
just n triflo slovenly. His move
ments were lazy and the earnestness
that was expected to mark his work
did not put in its appearance.
With tho fight just seven days
away, Jack says ho will go through
tho hardest program of the training
season. Ho will not end his hard
work until the very last moment, his
! trainers declare, and ho will throw
ns much vim into it as possible.
Having made the shift to Reno only
four days ago, he wants to use ev
ery minute of Ihd time, believing that
it is essential for him to do as much
hard work as ho can before he steps
into the arena July 4.

come irascible enough to quarrel
with his trainers it is believed that
his mood will be none too good for
