TEBBY RIBES ABOUT
WITH KING LEOPOLD
POME, April G. Theodore Roose
Telt. ns the cuest of Kim? Victor
Emmanuel of Italy Tuesday rode in
the royal autmobile with the monarch
and visited many of tho show places
of Rome.
Tho royal machine was attended
by a dozen policemen mounted on bi
cycles, by an automobilo filled with
police and by a train of automobiles
containing leading officials and cor
respondents. The king's automobile
was driven to the Beausite hotel at
10 o'clock this morning. A few min
utes later, Roosevelt, silk-hatted and
gloved, entered the machine and took
a seat beside the king. The royal
car was simple of design and could
not be compared with many of the
expensive cars seen daily upon New
York's Fifth avenue.
The king wbre little insignia and
but for the numerous attendant ma
chines the pair would have attracted
little attention from the spectacular
-iowpoint.

MAN CLAIMS HE WAS
MISTREATED IN JAIL
THE TRUE TEST.
Tried In Medford, It Has Stood the
Test.
The hardest test is the test of
time, and Doan's Kidney Pills have
stood it well in Medford. Kidney
sufferers can hardly ask for strong
er proof than the following:
Mrs. J. IL Baussum, Central ave
nue, Medford, Or., says: "I was to
bad off with kidney trouble that I
could not do my housework. Mv
back was weak and painful and in
the morning when I got up I was
lame and soro. The kidnoy secre
tions passed irregularly and my
health steadily ran down until I was
bardly able to get abou. While in
that condition I read about Doan's
Kidney Fills and got a box at Has
kins' drug store. I felt better from
the time I commenced their use nnd
it was not long before I was cared.
I am in a position to recommend
Doan's Kidney Pills highly to any
ono afflicted with kidney com
plaint." (Statement given September
14, 1907.)
Permanent cure justifies re-en
dorsement.
Mren Mrs. Baussum was inter
viewed on October 20, 1009, she
said: "My former indorsement of
Doan's Kidney Pills still holds good.
Since this remedy cured me I have
had no further attacks of kidnoy
complaint and I have enjoyed good
health. I do not hesitate to say that
Doan's Kidney Pills are a specific
for all difficulties caused by weak
kidneys."

cents. Foster-Milburn Co., Buffalo,

States.
