days was the most sovcro that
Southern- Oregon has experienced for

tion here, but 18 degrees is the lowedt
that has been reached for mnny
years until tho 2nd of January when
at 7 o'clock the thermometer at the
Southern Pacific depot registered 15.
The same thermomofer registered 20
on the 1st, 15 on tho 2nd, 24 on tho
3rd, 20 on the 4th, and 10 on the 5th.
Twenty-six was the register this
morning with cloudy skies and askit
of snow on the ground, nnd indica
