The water Is either taken from
streams or had in any quantity by
sinking a well to tho depth of 30 or
40 feet. The power Is given the
farmer at a cost of but $30 a year
per horsepower, and the price of mo
tor and pump is not over $125 less
than the cost of a steam or gasoline
engine, and far more efficient and
simple In operation. One horsepower
