Tho city of Medford doth ordain
as follows:
Section 1. Whereas, tho council
did heretofore provldo by ordinance
for tho serving of owners of property
adjacent to and benefited by tbe
construction of tho lateral sewer
hereJnnfter described to appear bo
foro said council and show cause, If
any, why said property should not
bo assessed for tho construction of
said sewer, and did fix a tlmo for
hearing any such protests, which no
tice was duly given In accordance
with said ordinance moro than ten
days before tho beginning of the con
struction of said sewer, but no pro
tests against said construction or
assessment of tho cost thereof was
mado by anyone, and said sewer was,
