former Adjutant General Ortis Ham
ilton, 011 charges of embezzlement
while head of tho Washington na
tional guard forces, will begin No
vember 23. Aftor many delays this
date has finally been fixed. Since
early last summer Hamilton has been
confined at Olympia. Of late ho has
spent much time examining his ac
counts in his coll, preparing for the
defense Hamilton's downfall1 re
sulted from' his inability to' resit tho
blinding offects of tho bright lights
of high lifo.
