Within the next SO days, according
to C. C. Hutchins, secretary of the
White Salmon, Wash., Commercial
club, the uniform system o f road signs
adopted by Klickitat county last fall
will be completed.
"The system ." says Mr. Hutchins,
"has gone even further than we had
anticipated. Now the farmers along
all main trunk roads are placing uni- i
form hoard* with their names printed
on them in front o f their homes. No
tourist who travels through Klickitat
county this summer will fail to he im
pressed by the road signs.”
The system o f the Washington coun
ty has made an appeal to local men, ;
who may agitate a movement to dupli
cate it here.
