H ou sew ork Drudgery
A>ousework is drudgery for the weak woman. She brush
es, dusts and scrubs, or is on her feet all duy attending to
the many details of the household, her back aching, her
temples throbbing, nerves quivering under the stress o(
pain, possibly d iizy feelings. Sometimes rest in bed it
not refreshing, because the poor tired nerves do not per
mit of refreshing sleep. The reaf need of weak, nervous
women is satisfied by D r. Pierce’s Favorite Prescription.

A groat deal of paiu and Buffering
might bo avoided if we had some know
ledge of physiology and the care of th«
body, particularly those p a rts th a t do
the most work and should always bto
kept strong and healthy.
In an interview with a prom inent
physician he sta te s th a t people should
pay more attention to their kidneyB as
they control th© other organs to a re-
markuble degree and do a tremendous
amount of work in removing the poisons
und waste m atter from the system by
filtering the blood.
During the w inter months especially,
when we live an indoor life, the kidney»
should receive some assistance when
needed, as we take less exercise, d rin k
less w a ter and. often eat more rich,
heavy food, th ereby forcing the kidneys
to do more work than N ature intended.
Evidence of kidney trouble, such as
lame back, inability to hold urine,
sm arting or burning, brick-dust or sedi
ment, sallow complexion, rheumatism,
may be weak or irregular heart action,
warns you th at your kidney» require
help immediately to avoid more serious
trouble.
