Mrs. Barton, of Heppner, was the
guest of her daughter, Mrs. A. J. Lane
the past week.

Morgan, Ore., attended the Lee-Rean-ey
wedding last Sunday evening.

We, your special committee ap
pointed to draft suitable resolutions
commerative of our deceased . brother,
Edgar D. Leach, respectfully submit
the following:
Brother Edgar D. Leach was born
In the state of New York during the
year 1852., When a young man he
was living In the state of Nebraska j
where he was married. Some fifteen
years ago he came with his family to
this state, settling at Weston, Umatilla
county, whtre he lived till about eight
years ago, at which time he came to
Morrow county, where he resided till
June of the present year, at that time
he moved to near Salem, the capitol
of this state, at which place he died the
4th day of last month. j

Lexington Lodge, No. 168, I. 0. 0. F.
October 11, 1905, and received the'
various degress in due time. From 1

By the death of Bro. Leach this
Lodge has lost a faithful member, his
family a loving husband and father,
and the state an upright citizen.
Resolved. That our hearts' deepest
sympathy go out to the bereaved wid
ow and family, .and that we commend
them to "Him who doeth all things
well."
Resolved, That the charter of this
Lodge be draped in mourning for thir
ty days, that a copy of these resolutions
be spread upon the records of the
Lodge, a cory furnished the family of
the deceased, and a copy furnished
our local paper and another the Pacific
Odd Fellow for publication. ;
