A birthday party was given at Mr. and Mrs. David Leach's residence last evening in honor of the 15th birthday of their daughter, Anna. It being the birthday of Miss Merl Carmichael and W. P. McMillan a combination party was made and the three birthdays were fittingly remembered. Those present report a very pleasant time. We heard a traveling man telling how one of the well advertised patent medicines saved the life of himself and a companion during the last cold snap of the winter.
