The Wheatfield has received the following message from Santa Claus.
North Pole, December 15, 1905.
I shall be in Lexington next Saturday, I will have my work shop in the big
show window of Leach Bro's. store. All nice boys and girls can see me make their
Christmts toys. I will be there from 1 :30 till 2:30. Tell the boys and girls that I
want to see all of them, I will give some toys away also a sack of candy and nuts and
a big red apple to every boy and girl that comes to see me. Don't foget the time,
from 1:30 till 2:30, Saturday the 23. ' i "
