SCHOOL NOTES
The school Is preparing for a entertain
ment, to begin in the near future. A
committee of students has been elected
to manage affair. The entertainment
is to be given for the benefit of 1he
school, to help defray the large expense
the shool has had to meet this year,
in buying new blackboards and desks.
The earnestness and willingness which
the students have taken ud this matter
illustrates the character of the pupils of
the school.
Now that the school has settled down
to its winter work we would be glad to
have parents and those Interested In
the school work visit us. If you will
take a little more interest in the school
your children will also. You attend so
seldom that when a visitor does come
it is somewhat the same as meeting a
stranger. We don't know how to act.
If you would come and get acquainted
with the school then you would know
the kind of work that is being done.
Don't come once and judge the school I
by that visit for that is not enough to
get acquainted. Don't come the last
thing In the afternoon for that Is not
the time of day to see the school In its
normal condition. We believe it would
be a benefit to the teacher.the pupils,
and probably to the parents if they
would visit the school more. It would
be an incentive to both pupils and teach
ers to do better work if the parents
would get acquainted and associate
with the school a little.
