The Methodist ladies are planning
a Hallowe'en social. Don't say a word
about it as we were told not to men-

gram will be prepared.

yet vegetables do not yield well in the
stubblefield, so we must depend on
someone else to raise them. U you
have more than you need and ' cannot
sell them any place else, bring them
In to us and trade them on subscrip
tion. If you have no vegetables bring
fruit instead.
One of the needs of Lexington is a
station agent We believe the amount
of business done at this station would
Justify the company in keeping an
agent here. Every train brings freight
and express to Lexington which has to
be looked after by the owners or some
one for them. Our citizens should
take this matter up with the railroad
company and shown some good reason
why Lexington is not given the service
she Is entitled to from the Company.

the enterprise of Lexington citizens.
