A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy re- sponded and gave the resident some options. 9:04 p.m. — A Heppner resident reported two coyotes were in her backyard and Oregon De- partment of Fish and Wildlife told her it was OK to shoot them. Monday, Aug. 15 10:01 a.m. — A man told Hermiston police he was “doing some work at the motel” and found at least eight to 10 people living in a room toward the back of the complex off East Ridgeway Avenue. 11:04 a.m. — Hermiston police received a re- quest for a welfare check on a male on a bicycle pulling a cart covered in tinfoil with a toddler inside. 2:48 p.m. — A caller reported a semitrailer rolled on the eastbound side of Interstate 84 at Board- man.
