Tuesday, July 19
12:18 p.m. — A person at the
Hermiston Police Department, 330
S. First St., asked to speak to an of-
ficer about fraudulent checks that
were cashed on his account.
1:29 p.m. — Morrow County Sher-
iff’s Office received a report of an
individual burning something late
at night on Northeast Elder Street,
Heppner. The caller said this was
suspicious.
4 p.m. — A resident on South
Birch Street, Ione, reported some-
one had been unlocking her
front gate and asked the Morrow
County Sheriff’s Office for extra
patrols.
10:31 p.m. — A 911 caller on West
Elm Avenue, Hermiston, reported
girls were fighting.
Wednesday, July 20
7:39 a.m. — A caller at Space Age
Fuel, 77522 Highway 207, Herm-
iston, reported a female wearing
a white, blue and yellow shirt and
blue jeans and carrying a black
garbage bag was trying to get
into multiple employee vehicles.
Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies
responded.
7:54 p.m. — A caller reported 40
sheep were on his property at
Idaho Lane and West Fourth Road,
Irrigon. Morrow County Sheriff’s
Office responded and found the
owners of the sheep.
8:55 p.m. — Morrow County Sher-
iff’s Office received a report from a
resident of Mountain Glen Apart-
ments, 200 N.E. Pioneer Drive,
Heppner, of someone trespassing
in their apartment and making
threats. The sheriff’s office advised
the caller of her options.
Thursday, July 21
1:15 a.m. — A caller reported a
person was lying on the road on
Cain Lane, Irrigon. The caller also
said there may have been a party
at the residence.
3:08 p.m. — The West Extension
Irrigation District, 840 Highway
730, Irrigon, reported the theft of
$2,000 from the district’s general
fund through Banner Bank. The
Morrow County Sheriff’s Office is
investigating.
3:12 p.m. — A woman in the
Hermiston Police Department
lobby asked to speak to an officer
about a black backpack she found
at a park. The woman stated she
saw three suspicious males drop
the bag in the park, and she and
her friend went to look in the bag.
When they opened it they found it
of a burglary. This case is under in-
vestigation.
8:15 p.m. — A resident on South
First Street, Irrigon, reported a dog
was on her property and attacking
and eating her chickens. Morrow
County Sheriff’s Office began an
investigation.

east Chase Street, Heppner, re-
ported he thinks a female came
into his apartment when he was
not there and used a product.
Morrow County Sheriff’s Office
made contact with the caller.
Sunday, July 24
10:31 a.m. — Morrow County
Sheriff’s Office responded to
Southeast Matlick Street, Hep-
pner, on a report of an assault. The
victim said she had bruises but
did not need emergency medical
services.
2:19 p.m. — Hermiston police
responded to the 500 block of
Northeast Fourth Street on a re-
port of an assault.
3:28 p.m. — Umatilla County sher-
iff’s deputies responded to Mc-
Nary Beach, Umatilla, on a report
of a fight.
4:41 p.m. —A 911 caller near
Highway 395 and Margaret Av-
enue, Umatilla, reported a black
pick up had hit the utility pole and
the lines were down. Emergency
agencies responded.
8:57 p.m. — Hermiston police
responded to the 100 block of
Southwest 10th Street on a report
of an assault.
9:11 p.m. — Morrow County Sher-
iff’s Office responded to North-
west Morgan Street, Heppner,
on a report of an individual’s son
smoking fentanyl in their shop,
when she tried to take it from him
he tackled her to the ground and
was fighting her for it. The sheriff’s
office made an arrest for domestic
violence.
Friday, July 22
7:39 a.m. — Morrow County Sher-
iff’s Office responded to an assault
on Steagall Road, Irrigon. The fe-
male victim was at the residence,
and male suspect was riding
around the area on a four-wheeler.
The sheriff’s office made an arrest.
8:29 a.m. — Umatilla police re-
sponded to Sloane Avenue on a
report of a vehicle theft.
8:46 a.m. — Morrow County Sher-
iff’s Office received a report from
Steagall Road, Irrigon, of harass-
ment and stalking. The caller said
she has received dozens of re-
stricted calls and believes it is her
neighbor.
11:40 a.m. — Umatilla County
Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue
responded to East Birch Creek and
Forest Service 54 roads, Pilot Rock,
after receiving a 911 call request-
ing search and rescue and emer-
gency medical services.
1:11 p.m. — Morrow County Sher-
iff’s Office responded to a report
of an airplane that went off the
runway and had a minor crash at
Lexington Airport, 65820 Airport
Road, Lexington. No one was in-
jured.
2:23 p.m. — A caller on East Buck-
ley Street, Echo, reported she is
having issues with payments on
her city water and utility bill. She
requested a police escort to Echo
City Hall so she can “pick a fight
with the city clerk.”
8:15 p.m. — Emergency services
in Morrow County responded to a
report of a kitchen fire on Steagall
Road, Irrigon.
Saturday, July 23
11:43 a.m. — Hermiston police
responded to the 1800 block of
South Highway 395 on a report of
a burglary.
12:30 p.m. — Umatilla County
sheriff’s deputies responded to Ca-
nal Road, Hermiston, on a report

6:11 a.m. — Hermiston police
responded to the 600 block of
Southeast Seventh Street on a re-
port of a burglary.
8:53 a.m. — A resident on Wash-
ington Lane, Irrigon, reported
catching the dog who attacked
her chickens and asked the Mor-
row County Sheriff’s Office to take
the dog.
6:40 p.m. — A Heppner resident
said she quit a job due to a co-
worker who now is harassing her
on Facebook.
10:52 p.m. — A resident at Balti-
more Apartments, 180 N.W. Balti-
more St., Heppner, reported some-
one in Pendleton is harassing her
about her mother’s debt. The calls
come multiple times a day and are
threatening, and her mother dis-
charged this debt in a bankruptcy
• Morrow County Sheriff’s Office
arrested Jesse Austin Corbin, 25,
for fourth-degree assault.
• Umatilla County Sheriff’s Of-
fice arrested Brandon Burke
Creel, 36, for menacing, at-
tempted unlawful use of a
weapon, second-degree crim-
inal mischief and felon in pos-
session of a weapon.
