The farm bureau estab- lished the opportunity by honoring the memory of Anne-Marie Moss. The first students to receive the award and their area of focus are Laramie Ricker, ag business; Amanda Harris, crop production; Mag- gie Brewer, animal science; and Trevor Smith, ag mechanic. Through her affiliation with the Or- egon Farm Bureau Federation, Moss dedicated her life and energies to the improvement of informing the public and private citizens of the value of agri- culture in everyone’s life. She served as the communications director of OFBF for more than 18 years. Moss won numerous national awards for publications, writing, photography and social media promoting agriculture. She had a passion for farming and for telling the story of agriculture. A be- loved and devoted friend and coworker, she touched many lives through her en- couraging and positive ways.
