7:59 a.m. — Hermiston police
responded to East Autumn
Avenue after receiving a report
of potential fraud/forgery.
8:06 a.m. — Frederickson
Farms, 80702 Paterson Ferry
Road, Irrigon, reported the
theft of multiple items this
past weekend and the week-
end before.
9:38 a.m. — A resident at
Green Acres RV Park, 80542
Paterson Ferry Road, Irrigon,
reported his neighbor assault-
ed him a year ago.
10:27 a.m. — A woman asked
to speak to a Hermiston offi cer
about a check she received
moments earlier. She said she
was told by her bank not to
accept the check, as it is fraud-
ulent and was told the bank
already had a case.
10:53 a.m. — A woman asked
to speak to a Hermiston offi cer
regarding her situation at
home with her husband. She
stated she has endured eight
years of emotional and verbal
abuse, as well as domestic
violence. She wanted to know
what to do to separate and get
shared custody of their son.
11:47 a.m. — A caller on West
Beebe Avenue, Hermiston,
reported cashing a check that
his bank said was fraudulent.
Hermiston police took a report.
10:14 p.m. — A caller reported
hearing gunshots from a ve-
hicle in the area of Boardman
Avenue Northwest.
TUESDAY, APRIL 19
12:47 p.m. — A caller reported
a black Angus cow has its head
stuck in a fence on the west-
bound side of Interstate 84 in
the Boardman area. Dispatch
contacted the owner, who
took care of the cow.
1:16 p.m. — Umatilla County
sheriff ’s deputies responded to
Clara Brownell Middle School,
1400 Seventh St., Umatilla,
after receiving a report of
harassment.
1:44 p.m. — A caller on Gun
Club Lane, Hermiston, report-
ed the theft of a horse and the
name of the person who took
it. The Morrow County Sheriff ’s
Offi ce determined this was a
civil matter.
6 p.m. — A caller asked for
extra patrols in the area of
Butter Creek and Little Butter
Creek roads, Echo, due to road
signs being knocked over in
the area.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 20
8:46 a.m. — Umatilla police
took a report of graffi ti at the
Willamette Overlook at Willa-
mette and Riverside avenues.
12:30 p.m. — Hermiston police
responded to East Punkin Cen-
ter Road on a report of assault.
2:52 p.m. — Umatilla police
responded to Raymond Street
for a domestic disturbance.
9:19 p.m. — A resident on
Northeast Elder Street, Hep-

dog was outside in the storm
and crying.
11:20 p.m. — A 911 caller at
Stanfi eld RV Park, 345 S. Main
St., Stanfi eld, stated she and
her husband were in a dispute
and he was throwing her
property and her cat. Stanfi eld
police responded and separat-
ed the two.
THURSDAY, APRIL 21
7:53 a.m. — A caller at Main
Street Laundry, 106 Main St. S.,
Boardman, reported a male at
the location defecated himself.
The caller provided no more
information.
3:51 p.m. — A 911 caller
reported a vehicle crashed and
rolled on the eastbound side
on Interstate 84, Boardman.
6:44 p.m. — A woman report-
ed her husband was leaving
their residence on Southeast
Greenwood Street, Irrigon, and
a 40-year-old woman ap-
proached him, acted strange
and asked if he was leaving
for work and if anyone was at
the home. The Morrow County
Sheriff ’s Offi ce checked but did
not fi nd the woman.

a man was threatening and
harassing his wife. Local law
enforcement responded and
trespassed the man from the
residence.
6:15 p.m. — A resident on East
Highway 730, Irrigon, reported
a pit bull dog and a German
shepherd killed her baby calf.
She shot and killed the pit
bull in her pasture, but the
German shepherd was loose.
Morrow County Sheriff ’s Offi ce
responded and cited Michaela
Kay Elward of Irrigon for hav-
ing a dog as a public nuisance
and having a potentially
dangerous dog.
8:46 p.m. — A 911 caller on
East Punkin Center Road,
Hermiston, reported a red
Toyota pickup hit her fence
and was trying to leave.
9:30 p.m. — A caller on East
Columbia Lane, Hermiston,
complained about fi reworks in
the area.
ARRESTS, CITATIONS
1:16 a.m. — A resident at
Green Acres RV Park, 80542
Paterson Ferry Road, Irrigon,
reported he woke up to his
neighbors fi ghting and one
keeps yelling, “Stop touching
me, don’t hit me.”
9:27 a.m. — Stanfi eld police
responded to Patriot Heights,
155 Valor Ave., after a man
called 911 and stated he took
his ex’s keys so she couldn’t
leave with the children.
9:39 a.m. — Umatilla police re-
ceived a 911 call from Harvest
Foods, 1411 Sixth St., Umatilla,
and the dispatcher heard a
female causing a disturbance
before the line went dead.
Police responded.
11:46 a.m. — A caller on North
Townsend Road, Hermiston,
reported there were squatters
inside a shed behind a vacant
house. Law enforcement
responded.
2:14 p.m. — A resident in the

• Morrow County Sheriff ’s
Offi ce arrested Gage Michael
Niehaus, 22, for vehicle theft,
possession of a federally
controlled substance, delivery
of methamphetamine and
possession of cocaine.
• Boardman police arrested
Jose Vielmas Carvajal, 62, for
driving under the infl uence of
intoxicants and a hit-and-run
on property.
April 22
• Morrow County Sheriff ’s Of-
fi ce arrested Ruben Plascencia
Garcia for driving under the
infl uence of intoxicants, and
hit-and-run involving property.
He also received a citation for
driving uninsured.
• Morrow County Sheriff ’s
Offi ce arrested Gage Michael
Niehaus, 22, for vehicle theft,
possession of a federally
controlled substance, delivery
of methamphetamine and
misdemeanor possession of
cocaine.
April 23
• Hermiston police arrested
Daniel Perez Garcia, 25, for
felony fourth-degree assault,
menacing and giving false
information to police
April 24
• Umatilla police arrested Tony
Lee Colbray Sr., 60, for felony
DUII and on a warrant.
• Morrow County Sheriff ’s
Offi ce responded to Southeast
Fourth Street, Irrigon, after
a resident there reported
neighbors were arguing and
there was a gunshot. Deputies
arrested Nora Alisia Rodrigues
for domestic violence assault
and menacing, unlawful use of
a weapon and second-degree
kidnapping.
• Hermiston police arrested
Spencer Carl Seitoku Hull,
38, for two counts each of
second-degree forgery and
identity theft.

bance. Law enforcement
responded.
2:36 p.m. — A caller on Blue
Jay Street, Umatilla, had some
questions regarding her soon-
to-be ex-husband harassing her.
4:19 p.m. — Umatilla police
responded to McNary Market,
205 Willamette St., for a do-
mestic disturbance.
11:57 p.m. — A 911 caller
reported someone pulled up
to a vacant property on Daisy
Lane, Irrigon, started a fi re in a
barrel and left. The caller put
out the fi re but wanted law en-
forcement to be aware of this.

Willam "Bill" Norwood Reynolds
May 6, 1937 - January 13, 2022
William Norwood Reynolds
(aka Bill) was born in Roswell
New Mexico to his parents, James
T. Reynolds and Catherine M. Cor-
ley Reynolds, on May 6, 1937, (the
day the Hindenburg crashed and
burned, Bill was born on an aus-
picious day). He died on Jan. 13,
2022, in Hermiston, Oregon, at the
age of 84 years.
Bill received master's degrees at
the University of New Mexico, University of Colora-
do and University of Hawaii in agricultural engineer-
ing and business management. He always said he was
educated beyond his intelligence. Bill was known as
a very intelligent and humble man. He always did his
best to do things right and honest. He did engineering
projects in the U.S., South America, Africa, the Middle
East, Jamaica and Canada. He was well known and re-
spected internationally as well as by the local farming
community.
Bill leaves behind his beloved wife of 30 years, Thel-
ma Wynne-Reynolds, four children, David Reynolds,
Bruce Reynolds, Kathy Shultz and Cynthia Alexander.
Bill’s memorial service will be held on May 7, 2022,
at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in
Hermiston, Oregon.
In lieu of flowers he has asked that donations be
made to the First United Methodist Church or Guide
Dogs For The Blind.
