Taste of Nordic returns to Anthony Lakes

breweries will set up tables

ORTH POWDER — A day of
skiing while sampling food
and drinks awaits visitors to
Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort
for the eighth annual Taste
of Nordic event on Sunday,
March 20.
“Anthony Lakes is very
excited to bring back the Taste
of Nordic event this year,” said
Chelsea Judy, marketing direc-
tor. “After a two-year hiatus,
this family-friendly event will
highlight our local craft food and
beverage makers. Come up, ski,
eat, drink and have a great time!”
From 11 a.m.-3 p.m., vendors
will set up along the cross-
country trails to serve food and
beverages.
Confirmed vendors include
Prodigal Son Brewing (Pendle-
ton), Side A Brewing (La Grande),
Barley Brown’s (Baker City),
The Cheese Fairy (Baker City),
Copper Belt Winery (Baker City),
Glacier 45 Distillery (Baker City),
Sweet Wife Baking (Baker City),
along the cross-country
trails at Anthony Lakes
Mountain Resort on Sunday,
March 20, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Tokens will be sold at the
ski area on the day of the

Food and drink establishments from around Eastern Oregon will set up at Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort for the Taste
of Nordic event Sunday, March 20.
Ten Depot Street (La Grande),
The Lone Pine Cafe (Baker City)
and North 7 Brewing (Baker City).
Tokens cost $4 each or seven
for $25. A trail pass and 10 to-
kens is $50; two trail passes and
20 tokens is $105.
Tokens can be purchased at
Anthony Lakes starting March
17 at the Nordic Outpost, ticket
booth, retail shop and Starbottle
Saloon. On the day of the event,
tokens are sold at the main
lodge, Nordic Outpost and along
the trails.
Taste of Nordic is an event
for all ages. Those 21 and older
must have a wristband prior to
consuming alcoholic beverages.
ID checks will be on the day of
the event at the above listed
locations.

Anthony Lakes has 30 kilome-
ters of groomed Nordic trails.
