system uses Chlorine Gas (150

license, and CDL or must be
able to obtain within 90 days of
employment.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hermiston City Council will
hold a public hearing on January 24, 2022 at or after 7:00 PM
at the Hermiston Community Center, 415 S Hwy 395, Hermiston,
Oregon. The applicant is the City of Hermiston. The hearing will
consider the proposed annexation to the City of Hermiston, with-
drawal from the Umatilla County Library District, and establishing
zoning designation of the following described property: approxi-
mately 13.24 acres of land located at 535, 555, and 615 E Jennie
Ave. The properties are described as 4N2811BA Tax Lot 100,
owned by Robert Casteel and 4N2811BA Tax Lot 600, owned by
David Hackler, and have a comprehensive plan map designation
of Open Space (OS) and Mobile Home/Medium Density Residen-
tial (MH) and are more particularly described as follows:
The east 630 feet of the south half of the northeast quarter of the
northwest quarter of Section 11, Township 4 North, Range 28,
excepting the east 310 feet of the south 150 feet thereof; com-
bined with the east half of the northeast quarter of the northeast
quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 11, Township 4 North,
Range 28, all being east of the Willamette Meridian, Umatilla
County, Oregon.
The above described land shall be designated as Open Space
(OS) and Multi-Structure Residential (R-4) on the City zoning
map.
The hearing will also consider amendments to the city’s com-
prehensive plan map from Open Space (OS) to Commercial (C)
for approximately 5.57 acres and Medium Density/Mobile Home
Residential (MH) for approximately 7.54 acres with a correspond-
ing change in zoning designation on the City’s zoning map from
Open Space (OS) to Outlying Commercial (C-2) and Multi Struc-
ture Residential (R-4). The properties are described as 4N2811BA
Tax Lots 100, 201, and 600. The properties are addressed as 535,
555, and 615 E Jennie Ave and 600 E Elm Ave and are owned by
Robert Casteel (TL 100), David Hackler (TL 600) and Quentin &
Salli Ketchersid (TL 201).
