EAST OREGON SCHOOLS GRANT $30,000 TO OREGON NONPROFITS “The most rewarding part of being involved with CommuniCare is giving back to the nonprofit organizations whose work we feel very passionate about. Every single one of the nonprofit organizations is worth giving money to, but you have to narrow them down to who fits your mission statement.” ADILIA, Nixyáawii Community School “For me, the highlight of CommuniCare was the interview process. Getting the opportunity to have real conversations with organizations doing such amazing and inspiring work, and really diving into the impact that people can have on the world around them, was a really special experience.“ RILEY, Pendleton High School Nixyáawii Community School Pendleton High School “I think people should get involved with CommuniCare because it’s a great opportunity to learn about the grantmaking process and how it all works, get involved with your community, and make a difference. I am hoping to major in political science and be involved with more nonprofits after college.” SYLVIE, Pendleton High School
