NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that the Hermiston Planning
Commission will hold a public
hearing on the 9th day of De-
cember, 2020 at or after 7:00
pm at the Community Center,
415 S Hwy 395, Hermiston,
Oregon.
The purpose of the hearing
is to consider a request from
Jesse Veliz for a variance
from §157.025 (D)(1) of the
Hermiston Code of Ordinanc-
es which establishes front
yard setback requirements
in a (R-1) Single Family Res-
idential zone. The applicant
requests that the front yard
setback for the garage be
reduced from twenty feet to
fourteen feet. The property is
described as 4N 28 15AB Tax
Lot 13600 and is located at
660 W Johns Ave. All interest-
ed persons are encouraged to

egon, on the proposed annex-
ation to the City of Hermiston,
withdrawal from the Umatilla
County Library District, and
establishing zoning designa-
tion of the following described
property: approximately 1.38
acre tract located at 1030 SW
17th St. The property, owned
by Robert & Victoria Smith, is
described as 4N 28 16, Tax
Lot 1400 and has a compre-
hensive plan map designation
of Medium Density Residen-
tial (M) and is more particular-
ly described as follows:

in a portion of the Northwest
