At the peak of recent devastating windstorms, nearly one-half
of our electric cooperative membership was without
power at one time.
THANK YOU to line crews who worked relentlessly,
and their spouses and families for their support and
understanding during this storm. Thank you to UEC
employees who spent days and nights supporting the
crews and keeping efforts organized and safe.
THANK YOU to Columbia Basin Electric Cooperative,
Magnum Power and Asplundh Tree Company for helping
restore power to homes, farms and businesses in
our service territory. Your assistance was vital to our
response!
THANK YOU to our cooperative membership and
communities for your patience and heartwarming
efforts to help families, friends and neighbors
as they removed trees off homes, business
and roads. This storm proves how deep the
community spirit runs in Northeast Oregon.
