Basin Project, Oregon
Under the authority of Federal
Reclamation Law, particular-
ly Section 7(c) of the Recla-
mation Project Act of 1939
(53 Stat. 1195), the Bureau
of Reclamation proposes to
enter into a long-term con-
tract with the Hermiston Irri-
gation District (District). The
contract would authorize the
District to provide water from
Cold Springs Reservoir to
serve lands held by Oregon
State University in addition to
lands already authorized to be
served by the District.

Under the authority of the Act
of June 17, 1902, (32 Stat.
388) and acts amendatory
thereof and supplementary
thereto, and particularly Sec-
tion 208 of Title II of the Act
of October 28, 1988, (Pub. L.
100-557, 102 Stat. 2793) com-
monly known as the Umatilla
Basin Project Act, and Sec-
tion 1 of the Act of February
21, 1911, (Pub. L. 61-406, 36
Stat. 925) commonly known
as the Warren Act, the Bureau
of Reclamation proposes to
enter into a contract with the
Stanfield Irrigation District
(District). The contract would

diversion, storage, convey-
ance, or pumping capacity in
Umatilla Basin Project and/
or Umatilla Project facilities
constructed by the United
States to divert, convey and
deliver up to 3,000 acre-feet
of non-project water for the
purpose of irrigation in accor-

of Oregon water right.
