beautiful fall day brought hundreds of
people to the SAGE Center on Satur-
day in Boardman. In its sixth year, the
Morrow County Harvest Festival was
deemed a success by Lisa Patrick, SAGE
Center manager.
“It was great and Mother Nature was so

The free event featured activities both
indoors and outside. In addition, dozens of
artisan vendors offered handcrafted items.
A Port of Morrow project, the SAGE Cen-
ter — which stands for Sustainable AGricul-
ture & Energy — features interactive dis-

plays and hosts a variety of activities. The
visitor’s center has been included in Oregon
Business magazine’s top 100 fan-favorite
destinations in Oregon for two years in a row.
