Hermiston’s annual downtown celebration returned to
its roots on Saturday.
The celebration was called Spudfest for decades before
being renamed Funfest for several years. Saturday’s cele-
bration returned to the Spudfest name in honor of one of
Hermiston’s most prolifi c crops.
