April Chamber Luncheon
Every April we celebrate Administrative Professionals Day at
our Chamber Luncheon. Th is year I'm pleased to announce
Tammy Malgesini will be our speaker.
Aft er more than two decades in the human services fi eld,
Tammy picked up a pen in 2006 and began writing for
EO Media Group. She has a bachelor's degree in
psychology/sociology from George Fox University.

out of town and would like to have an outdoor spot at the SAGE Center there is a
vendor fee of $20.00.
Tammy is hopelessly addicted to Pepsi, playing board games,
spending time with her hus band and spoiling her canine kids.
She also enjoys taking trips with friends, golfi ng, biking and
occasionally performing stand-up comedy.
100% of the proceeds go to Explorer Post 641 to help pay their entry fees
for the 2019 Law Enforcement Challenge in August.
SAGE SATUDAY
As the community editor of the Hermiston Herald and
East Oregonian, Tammy is responsible for writing precede
story/briefs for upcoming community events, feature stories
and serve as back-up for handling obituaries. In addition, she
periodically writes a column in the Herald, inside my shoes,
which features general musings about life. Tammy won the
"Best Local Col umn" from the Oregon Newspaper Publishers
Association during the 2016 Better Newspaper Contest.
She has served as a photography judge for the Umatilla County
Fair since 2006 and for two years for the Morrow County Fair;
judged the arts & entertainment fi nalists for the California
Newspaper Publishers Association and serves on the committee
for Pacifi c Women's Quest, a fall retreat at the Oregon coast.
She was a Special Olympics ski coach for many years until her
knee failed her. Tammy also answers her phone at all hours of
the day and night for those seeking information
about alcohol and drug problems.
