Danny Charles Temple,
age 77, went home with
the angels on September 6,
2018, after a long bat-
tle with an extended
illness. Danny was
born on January 26,
1941, to Guy and
Velma
(Putman)
Temple in Fresno,
California. He moved
to Carmichael, Cal- Temple
ifornia, at age 5
where he attended
school.
After leaving
San Juan High
School in 1958 he
joined the Navy, and served
his country until 1962. In
1958 He married Charlotte
Lind (McKenzie). Together
they had three children:
Sherrie Temple (Montgom-
ery) of Pendleton, Oregon;
Lori Temple (McCleery)
of Pendleton, Oregon; and
Danny Temple Jr. of Sacra-
mento, California.
In 1973 Danny married
Marlene Maughan, eventu-
ally making their home in
Winthrop, Washington, and
raised two more sons, Monte
Temple of Marysville, Wash-
ington, and Jason Temple of
Winthrop, Washington.
Danny worked in vend-
ing and food service, and
was a country music singer.
He was happiest outdoors,

was preceded in death by his
mother, Velma Putman Tem-
ple, father Guy Temple, and
brother Garland Temple.
He touched many lives
during his time here, and
will be missed by many.

service was at 11 a.m. Sun-
day, September 16, 2018, at
Sullivan Cemetery in Win-
throp, Washington.

Maria Anita Buen-
dia Munoz. She died
September 15, 2018,

years.
Esperanza
was
raised in Eagle Pass,
Texas, where she Minton
married Felipe Min-
ton on March 6, 1950. They
moved to Mabton, Washing-
ton, and lived there before
settling in Hermiston, Ore-
gon, in 1952, where she has
lived since.
Esperanza worked at
the Hermiston Community
Center and later for Head
Start and Lamb Weston
before working for JR Sim-
plot. She worked for Dr.
Joseph Gifford for several
years before she retired.
She was a member of
Our Lady of Angels Cath-
olic Church and the Herm-
iston Eagles Lodge # 2909
for many years. Esperanza
enjoyed embroidery, cro-
cheting, cross stitch, col-
oring, cooking, going on
walks and hosting parties.
She also was known for
making the best tamales in
town. She loved dancing,
singing, all kinds of music,
