SENTENCES
PENDLETON — The following sentences have
been imposed in Umatilla County courts:
FELONY
•Sergio Ramires Barreto, 25, Hermiston,
pleaded guilty to Strangulation-domestic vio-
lence and Recklessly Endangering Another Per-
son: sentenced to 3 years probation, 180 sanc-
tion units, 90 maximum jail units, $200 fine and
restitution to be determined.
•Daryl Bryant Lanphear, 39, Hermiston,
pleaded guilty to two counts possession of
meth: sentenced to $200 fine and 6 months
driver’s license suspension for each count (dis-
charged); pleaded guilty to Falsifying Drug Test
Results: sentenced to 30 days jail and $100 fine.
•Gage Darrell Woods, 19, Hermiston,
pleaded guilty to Unauthorized Use of Vehi-
cle: sentenced to 2 years probation, 90 sanction
units, 30 maximum jail units, 320 hours commu-
nity service, $200 fine, $2,300 fine-suspended
and 1 year driver’s license suspension; pleaded
guilty to Attempt to Commit Class C/Unclassi-
fied Felony and Criminal Trespass I: sentenced
to $100 fine and restitution to be determined.
•Joseph Clarence Day, 45, Hermiston,
pleaded guilty to three counts of Failure to
Appear: sentenced to 13 months Oregon DOC, 2
years post-prison supervision and $200 fine for
each count; pleaded guilty to Criminal Trespass
II; sentenced to $100 fine.
•Bernabe Guardado Escalante, 31, Herm-
iston, pleaded guilty to possession of meth:
sentenced to 18 months probation, 90 sanction
units, 30 maximum jail units, 160 hours commu-
nity service, $200 fine, $1,300 fine-suspended
and 6 months driver’s license suspension.
•Willie Lee McLemore, 51, Hermiston,
pleaded guilty to possession of methamphet-
amine: sentenced to 3 years probation, 180
sanction units, 90 maximum jail units, 40 hours
community service, $200 fine and 6 months
driver’s license suspension.
•Justin Anthony Key, 40, Culdesac, Idaho,
pleaded guilty to Failure to Appear I: sentence
discharged.
•Karina (Corrina) Chavez, 34, Hermiston,
pleaded guilty to Identity Theft: sentenced to 24
months Oregon DOC, 2 years post-prison super-
vision, $200 fine and restitution; pleaded guilty
to Failure to Appear I: sentenced to $200 fine
(discharged).
MISDEMEANOR
•Jarrod Allen Bankston, 39, Stanfield,
pleaded guilty to DUII: sentenced to 180 days
jail-suspended, 2 years probation, 80 hours
community service, $1,255 fine, $2,00 fine-sus-
pended and 1 year driver’s license suspension,
plus court costs and fees (revocation of Diver-
sion Program).
