Many Eastern Oregon teens are staying busy during their break from
school thanks to summer jobs in agriculture at places like Golden
Valley Farms and the Hermiston Agricultural Research and Extension
Center. Farm jobs have become less common for teenagers, however,
as technology replaces workers and new child labor laws restrict what
jobs employees under 18 can perform. For a story on teen summer
