NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hermiston City Council
will hold a public hearing on June 11, 2018 at or after 7:00 PM
in the council chambers of the City Hall, 180 NE 2nd Street,
Hermiston, Oregon.
The City of Hermiston is completing a Senior Center project
funded with Community Development Block Grant funds from
the Oregon Business Development Department. The location
of the project is 255 NE 2nd Street, Hermiston Oregon. It is
estimated that the project has benefited at least 2,400 eligible
persons that are low or moderate income.
The purpose of the hearing is for the City Council to obtain
citizens views about the project and to take comments about
the local government’s performance. Written comments are
also welcome and must be received by June 11 at City Hall.
Both oral and written comments will be reviewed by the City
Council.
The location of the hearing is accessible to the disabled.
Please let Lilly Alarcon-Strong at 541-667-5004 know if you

More information about the Oregon Community Development
Block Grant program and the project is available for public
