Stanfield library
expands Friday hours
The Stanfield Public
Library is updating its hours
in the new year.
Beginning Jan. 1, it will
be open Monday through
Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6
p.m. at 180 W. Coe Ave. The
library previously closed
earlier on Fridays. People
are encouraged to stop by
to check out a book or learn
about library programs.

A special program is
available that supports early

Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the
Hermiston Public Library,
235 E. Gladys Ave. Partic-
ipants need to enter through
the library’s back door.

Violin lessons start
Jan. 3
Representatives

Inland Northwest Musi-
cians are offering violin
lessons.
The twice-a-week ses-
sions are Mondays and
Wednesdays from 3:30-
4:30 p.m. at the Hermiston
Conference Center, 415 S.
Highway 395. The classes
begin Jan. 3. The cost is
$40 per month for Herm-
iston residents or $50 for
non-residents.
