reported at East Main Street — a knife
was displayed.
TUESDAY, NOV. 21
1:46 p.m. — A fight was reported at
South First Street, Hermiston.
9:32 p.m. — Three males were
fighting at North First Street,
Hermiston.
THURSDAY, NOV. 23
1:53 p.m. — Shots fired reported by
a caller on Locust Avenue, but officers
were unable to locate.
3:41 p.m. — A caller reported hear-
ing six shots, but officers couldn’t
locate them.
8:18 p.m. — A caller on West Cedar
Drive reported someone had jiggled
the handle of her door and her dogs
went crazy but no one ever knocked.
Police were unable to locate.
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 22
2:27 p.m. — A male was reported
to be hot-wiring a car, a small, red
hatchback. He took off with the car
toward 11th Street. Officers were
unable to locate the man.
10:43 p.m. — An assault was
FRIDAY, NOV. 24
12:16 a.m. — A caller at Southwest
11th Street in the West Sunland area
heard three shots, then a car with a
loud muffler speeding off toward the
Gotta Stop area.
2:12 p.m. — A man was reported
for stealing items from Safeway, and
stabbing some of them. According to
Hermiston Police, Saul Erickson took
several air fresheners out of the pack-
ages at Safeway, and put them in his
pockets. He also opened a knife in the
store, and was trying to stab a quart
container of oil. He was later found in
the area of Southeast Fourth Street
near East Highland Avenue, where he
was arrested. He was processed and
released with a citation to appear.
SATURDAY, NOV. 25
12:11 a.m. — A caller on SE 8th
Street reported their upstairs neighbor
was being too loud, and when they
pounded on the ceiling the neighbor
only pounded back while continuing
to be loud.
12:46 a.m. — Shots fired reported
at Northeast Marty Drive, Hermiston.
2:09 a.m. — A fight between two
people was reported at North First
Street, Hermiston.
SUNDAY, NOV. 26
12:19 a.m. — An armed subject
was reported at Southwest Porter
Court, Hermiston. Hermiston Police
said all parties knew each other and
there were no crimes committed, but
they believe there may have been an
attempt to steal some marijuana.
MONDAY, NOV. 27
2:08 p.m. — A burglary was
reported at West Orchard Avenue,
Hermiston.
3:03 p.m. — A caller on East Pine
Avenue, Hermiston, said over the
weekend, her vehicle was broken into,
and someone wrote a check in their
name and cashed it. They also took her
driver’s license, checkbook and papers
that had been in the vehicle.
9:50 p.m. — A business on Sun-
land Avenue, Hermiston, reported that
teenagers had broken into a vending
machine there and the manager had
one of the teens, a female, detained.
