maybe a female tried to drill through a
lock on a storage unit.
10:30 a.m. - The Morrow County
Sherif’s Oice investigated an incident
for harassment after a caller in Irrigon
on Washington Lane reported a driver
struck him with the front of a vehicle.
The caller was transported to Good
Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston.
2:15 p.m. - The manager at Pilot
Travel Center, 2115 S. Highway 395,
Stanield, reported a semi driver pulled
a gun on another driver at the fuel
island, then left.
THURSDAY, OCT. 6
11:22 a.m. - A woman reported
the theft of two necklaces after a
wedding at her residence on Knight
Road, Hermiston, on Sept. 3.
1:09 p.m. - A worker threatened
two supervisors at a business on
Lewis and Clark Drive, Boardman,
which led the company to ire him.
1:33 p.m. - Stanield police
received a request from a detective
with police in Williston, North
Dakota, to help ind a white 2004
Chevrolet Impala that could be in the
small city.
7:19 p.m. - A manager at Co-
lumbia Harvest Foods, 1411 Sixth St.,
Umatilla, asked for police to come to
the store because a male “with short
blond hair and a tail” was following
and scaring customers.
7:29 p.m. - An Irrigon caller
reported his brother is the victim of
bullies who left bruises on his legs,
hands and under an eye and also
twisted his ingers.
WEDNESDAY, OCT. 5
12:28 a.m. - An Irrigon woman
reported her son threatened her
earlier and now causing issues and
she needed law enforcement to
respond.
7:55 a.m. - A Hermiston woman
asked police to send an oicer to her
home to look at a text message she
received that she felt was harass-
ment. She also called the night
before, but this was a new message.
9:42 a.m. - Law enforcement
receive a complaint about illegal
dumping and littering along a
section of East Progress Road, Herm-
iston. The caller reported inding
paperwork in the trash with a name
and address.
12 p.m. - A caller reported a hate
crime in the area of 80800 Highway
395, Hermiston.
12:29 p.m. - CenturyLink workers
tried to access a woman’s property
on Friend Lane, Hermiston, to install
underground service for someone on
the road, but the property owner has
told the company three times now
that it cannot dig on her property.
3:43 p.m. - A man living on West
Ridgeway Avenue, Hermiston, told
police a male came to his home,
threatening to kill him, and said,
“Your day is coming,” then left.
11:52 p.m. - A caller reported
a “huge ight” outside the Loyal
Order of Moose lodge, 220 Third St.
N.E., Irrigon, resulted in one person
unconscious on the ground.
TUESDAY, OCT. 4
8 a.m. - Someone broke out
windows and sliced the seats on a
1997 green Nissan Altima that was on
blocks on West Hermiston Avenue,
Hermiston.
9 a.m. - A man came to the
Hermiston Police Department to tell
a supervisor what a great job oicer
Mike Ellwood does and how much he
appreciates him.
9:18 a.m. - A Hermiston woman
arrived at her home on Southwest
Sixth Street and found someone
“keyed” her car and sprayed it with
graiti.
10:16 a.m. - A caller told Umatilla
police that “Jeremy” who drives a
white van throws litter out of the
window.
11:07 a.m. - Umatilla police re-
ceived a call for help from a woman
who claimed people were harassing
her and out to kill her.
1:18 p.m. - Hermiston police re-
sponded to Scott’s Cycle and Sports,
110 E. Highland Ave., on a call about
someone in a costume. Oicers did
not spot any scary clowns.
1:31 p.m. - An Oregon State Police
trooper recovered a stolen gun at Co-
lumbia Outdoor Supply, Hermiston.
9:20 p.m. - Hermiston police re-
ceived a complaint about a Wal-Mart
semitrailer that ran a red light at
Highway 395 and Southeast Fourth
Street. The caller also said he was
upset that semis continue to speed
through the area and there are no
signs prohibiting engine braking.
11:20 p.m. - A Hermiston woman
called 9-1-1 to report three people,
including her “ex,” continue to ha-
rass her via phone and social media.

trespass, third-degree mischief,

• Hermiston police arrested Joseph
Clarence Day, 43, of Hermiston, for
possession of methamphetamine and
on warrants for failure to appear.
• An Oregon State Police stopped
a speeding Ford Explorer at 2:10 p.m.
and ended up inding evidence of
methamphetamine. The trooper arrest-
ed driver Elizabeth Ann McCallister, 36,
and passenger Alexandria Greek, 28,
for possession of meth.
• A Boardman man who skipped
court on an intoxicated driving charge
ended up in jail for driving drunk. An
Oregon State Police trooper at 7:22
p.m. stopped a black Ford F150 pickup
for speeding (going more than 21 mph
over the 70 mph limit) eastbound on
Interstate 84 near milepost 181. The
driver, Fernando Medina-Medrano, 36,
of Boardman, had a warrant for his
arrest for failing to appear in court on
a charge of driving under the inluence
of intoxicants. Trooper Sean Carothers
had Medrano undergo a sobriety test,
and he showed signs of impairment.
Carothers arrested Medrano on the
warrant and the new DUII charge and
cited him for driving uninsured and
speeding. Medrano, at the Umatilla
County Jail, Pendleton, provided a
breath test that showed his blood-alco-
hol level was .10 percent, which is more
than the .08 percent legal limit.

iston, for driving under the inluence
of intoxicants. His blood-alcohol level
was .17 percent, more than twice the
.08 percent legal limit.
• Oregon State Police arrested
Brodey James Patrick Sullivan, 21, of
Hermiston, for unlawful purchase of a
irearm. Sullivan tried to buy a gun at
Bi-Mart 200 S. First Place, Hermiston,
according to state police, but he is on
misdemeanor court probation for hin-
dering prosecution. He told police he
reviewed his court paperwork and did
not see anything preventing him from
having a gun. State police referred the
case to the Umatilla County District
Attorney’s Oice for consideration of
