SUNDAY
5:58 p.m. - The Morrow County
Sherif’s Oice received a report of
possible child abuse.
8:25 p.m. - A woman came into
the Morrow County Sherif’s Oice in
Heppner to report another woman
had punched her in the face three
times. Upon investigation, deputies
determined the case involved mutual
combat and wrote up a report for the
district attorney’s oice.
SATURDAY
12:19 a.m. - The Umatilla County
Sherif’s Oice called the Morrow
County Sherif’s Oice wanting to
know if there had been any reports
from the vicinity of River Point Farms,
28790 Westport Road, Hermiston,
about a shooting star or a possible
plane going down toward the west.
Morrow County deputies investigated
the area, but found nothing.
11:48 a.m. - A resident of South-
west Fourth Street, Irrigon, reported
all his ducks and chickens were killed
sometime during the night. The
Morrow County Sherif’s Department
is investigating.
2:08 p.m. - Items were reported
stolen out of a vehicle on Washington
Lane, Irrigon, sometime Friday.
FRIDAY
6:51 a.m. - A door was kicked in at
Barenburg USA, 60 Marine Drive N.E.,
Boardman, and two welders were
stolen sometime between 2 and 4
a.m., an employee reported. Morrow
County sherif’s deputies took a theft
report.
8:16 a.m. - The Morrow County
Sherif’s Department is investigating
credit card fraud reported by a
resident of Northwest Tumbleweed
Boulevard, Irrigon.
1:51 p.m. - The Boardman Fire
Department was called to Threemile
Canyon Farms, 75906 Threemile
Canyon Road, Boardman, to put out a
semi full of hay that was on ire.
THURSDAY
7:06 a.m. - A Boardman man on
Kunze Lane reported a dog attacked
his parents’ dog, and he hit the
aggressive mutt with a shovel. He
said he would kill it if someone does
not get the dog.
7:28 a.m. - A caller at Sno Road
Winery, 111 W. Main St., Echo, reported
a break-in at a work trailer and the
theft of tools.
8:18 a.m. - A mother brought her
daughter to the Hermiston Police De-
partment, 330 S. First St., Hermiston,
to talk to an oicer. The mother said
her child fears police and talking with

at the age of 65.

1953 where he has lived
since. Terry graduated from
Hermiston High School in
the class of 1968. He always
told his sister he graduated
with a wonderful group of
people that he loved dearly.
He always looked forward
to his high school reunions.
When he talked about the
past he always shared how
much he enjoyed “dragging
the gut” in his 1954 Chev-
rolet convertible, his pride
and joy.
Terry served in the Unit-
ed States Navy from 1968
until his honorable dis-
charge in 1970. He returned
to Hermiston and started
his own painting business.
Terry took great pride in
his work and was soon
known as one of the best
painters around. He was a
perfectionist and this qual-
ity brought him a great deal
of work by way of referrals
from happy clients.
Terry loved hunting, his
dogs, and ishing.
He looked for-
ward to the
annual Mor-
gan Lake ish-
ing trip every
year.
Terry, we
will miss you and
your quick wit; you
will live on in our
heart. Rest in peace.
He is survived by
his mother, Deanne
Lightle; son Daniel;
sister Kristy and her
husband Tom; neph-
ews Travis Christian and
his wife Heather, and Ryan
Christian; niece Lori Light-
le; and very close extended
family Don and Mary Ann
Christian.
Terry was preceded in
death by his father, Curley,
and brother, Rick.

received a report that a possible bank
robbery suspect was walking on
West Highland Avenue near the Gotta
Stop Mini Mart. Police did not ind the
person.
10:35 a.m. - A woman told
Hermiston police her Chihuahua, Nina,
was missing. She described the dog as
white with brown spots and wearing
a pink collar. Nina also has a fainting
condition.
12:18 p.m. - A man on Southshore
Drive, Umatilla, reported harassment
on Facebook over a Trump sign his
wife placed on his property.
2:06 p.m. - The Morrow County
Sherif’s Oice received a report of the
theft of marijuana plants in Irrigon.
A deputy may have found a location
for a suspect. The case was under
investigation.
2:57 p.m. - An Irrigon woman
reported her husband’s medication
from the United States Department
of Veterans Afairs in Walla Walla
arrived 37 pills short and not in the
correct packaging. She also reported
she heard several other veterans did
not get their medications on time. The
Morrow County Sherif’s Oice took
a report.
7:07 p.m. - Squatters appeared to
be using drugs at a residence on East
Beech Avenue, Hermiston.
WEDNESDAY
12:16 a.m. - The caller on the 9-1-1
line reported people in the vehicle
next to his heading into Hermiston
threatened him and may have tried
to cause a crash. They were near Den-
ny’s, 2265 S. Highway 395, Hermiston.
The passenger of the other vehicle
had a knife and motioned as though
he would slice the caller’s throat. The
vehicle then sped in front of the caller
and slammed on the brakes.
10:12 a.m. - A caller at Wesley Wise

reported a break-in at the shop and
theft of items.
11:38 a.m. - Two students from
